Properly designed masterbatches will not produce streaks when used in polymer coloring. Therefore, marble masterbatch includes a variety of different designs of masterbatch, the first one is a properly designed masterbatch for the base color of plastic products, while the other masterbatches are used to create the effect of marble. Marble masterbatches contain a carrier that is processed at a higher temperature than a plastic carrier.
In theory, the design of the marble masterbatch may seem simple, but in practice it requires a fine balance between the second masterbatch and the processing parameters of the polymer being colored. Too much difference in performance between the two will make them mismatched, resulting in defective products, while too little difference will make the marble effect less noticeable.
