1)Inorganic flame retardant

Inorganic flame retardants have the advantages of good thermal stability, non-toxicity, no corrosive gas, non-volatile, smoke suppression, long-lasting effect, and low price. result in negative effect.
2) Organic flame retardant
There are also many varieties of organic flame retardants, which are subdivided by compound types, mainly including phosphorus-based and halogen-based flame retardants. Phosphorus-based flame retardants can also be divided into halogen-free and halogen-containing flame retardants; while halogen-based flame retardants can also be divided into chlorine-based and bromine-based flame retardants

Organic flame retardants, especially brominated organic flame retardants which have a good flame retardant effect, low dosage, and little impact on the performance of plastic products. Therefore, despite the presence of toxic, high smoke and highly corrosive halogenated Hydrogen gas is still an important flame retardant that is widely used.

3) Application of flame retardant masterbatch
The amount of flame retardant masterbatch used is mainly determined according to different resins and the flame retardant grade achieved by the flame retardant resin. After many experimental comparisons, it can be seen that the corresponding flame retardant requirements can be achieved by adjusting between 6% and 12%.
The use process of the flame retardant masterbatch is very simple, as long as the masterbatch is evenly mixed with the flame retardant resin in proportion, it can be used to directly process various flame retardant products.
In recent years, users have used this masterbatch to produce many products, among which LLDPE flame retardant threading pipe is a large-scale variety. The equipment used is appropriately modified on the basis of ordinary pipe equipment, and the extrusion and mixing effect of the screw and other auxiliary equipment are added. The surface finish of the products produced by the improved equipment is greatly improved, and the product quality is improved. Due to its unique chemical structure and narrow molecular weight distribution, the resin has a small melt index, high melt viscosity and poor fluidity. The melt is prone to rupture, so the temperature must be increased and controlled accordingly during processing. When the temperature of the fourth stage of the extruder is low, the extrusion speed is low, the appearance of the product is rough, there are cold spots, and the equipment load increases significantly. When the temperature is high, the tube body breaks frequently and is difficult to form.
Confirmed by many tests
The temperature of the four extruding sections is determined as follows: the feeding section is 125~140 °C, and the plasticizing section is 140~160 °C.
The chemical section is 160~180℃, and the die is 150~165℃. Test results of LLDPE flame retardant threading pipes produced by the above process plus 11% flame retardant masterbatch
In addition, our other users have also used the masterbatch produced by this formula to process flame retardant products such as PP and HDPE. The specific process is not described in detail here. The effects of masterbatch on the mechanical properties and sun combustion properties of PP and HDPE are listed separately.
